We’re excited to announce that Hello Beautiful’s catchy and infectious song “Tick Tock” has been nominated for best pop song at the 12th annual Independent Music Awards! Hello Beautiful is nominated among an eclectic mix of established artists and artists on the rise including Ben Kweller, Band Of Skulls, Bright Eyes, Langhorne Slim & The Law, Omar Sosa, Killer Mike, Paper Lions, Sarah Cheng-De Winne and The Congregation, among many others. Winners will be determined by a panel of influential artist and industry judges including Tom Waits, Ziggy Marley, Suzanne Vega, Pete Wentz, G. Love, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Jeremy Taggart, Toots Hibbert, Joel Madden, Terry McBride (Nettwerk Music Group), Kevin Lyman (Vans Warped Tour), and others.
Liz’s follow-up single to the widely popular “Butterflies” is set to hit iTunes and radio on Oct. 8th and 9th, respectively. Co-written with Hawksley Workman, produced by Tino Zolfo (with additional production by Brandon Unis) and mixed by 5 time Grammy award winner Tom Lord-Alge, “What Was I Thinking” is already set to be a smash hit.
Hello, Beautiful will be performing at Katacombes in Montreal this Sunday, Sept. 23rd. They are on at 9:00pm and if you love great rock/pop/hip-hop, then you’ll be there!
Liz will also be performing a free, 40 minute set at Nathan Phillips Square on Saturday, Sept. 22nd alongside Darrelle London and Paper Lions. Hope to see you there!
